Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $21.50 per hour
• Additional Pay: $2.00 Shift Premium
• WEEKLY PAY
• Schedule: Third Shift; Rotating 3 & 4 Day Workweek
  • Hours: 6:00 pm - 6:00 am 
  • Week 1: Wednesday - Saturday
  • Week 2: Thursday - Saturday

We want the right Warehouse Associate to join us at Ryder and work in the Safest Supply Chain Environment with State of the Art Equipment

• Products Being Handled: Beverages and Food Grade Products
• Equipment: AGV Forklift

  Experience/Requirements: 

• 6 months of AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) experience highly preferred

• 6 months or more of experience in robotics, automation, engineering, or a related field required

• Technical Knowledge:

  Ability to troubleshoot and recognize mechanical issues on warehouse/distribution machinery

• Experience performing corrective maintenance on non-working AGV units

• Familiarity with PLC programming, automation controls, AGV systems, and IT-based production

• Capable of tracking issues and repairs, and following proper escalation processes when necessary

• Ability to manually override or complete jobs when AGV units fail to complete tasks

   

  Other Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and safety

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two (2) years or more Experience Related warehouse experience
• Two (2) years or more Experience Powered industrial lift experience
• Ability to:
  • Read, do basic mathematics, understand and respond to written and verbal instructions in English for the purposes of safety, work instructions, policies, etc
  • Lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
  • Input data into computer system(s) in use
  • Work overtime as assigned
  • Create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
  • Work independently and as member of a team
• Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized with excellent time management skills
• Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
• Operate powered industrial trucks (s), such as: Stand-up and Sit down forklifts, Cherry Pickers, Pallet Jacks, etc including how to operate and maintain (change battery, recognize common mechanical issues) (advanced level)
• May be required to operate manual and/or automated other warehouse/manufacturing equipment (such as a packaging line) (intermediate level) preferred
• Powered industrial truck certification preferred
• Safety Sensitive Position
• Operate fork-lift equipment or other warehouse machinery

Important Note: Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

• Provide corrective maintenance to AGV units that have stopped or are not working as expected
• Manually override or complete the job the AGV unit failed to complete
• Track issues/repairs and utilize escalation process
• Be aware of and follow location and work center Safety and Security policies and procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned
• May be required to perform other warehouse functions
• May be required to train others in various warehouse functions, including the safe operation of various powered industrial lift equipment
