Position Description

Responsible for analysis and utilization of continuous improvement tools to design Supply Chain Solutions in current and future operations.

 

-Generate innovative ideas to drive continuous improvement to drive customer savings and process efficiencies

 

-Potential network design work

 

-Transportation modeling and optimization

 

-Customer facing as well as creating and delivering presentations

 

-Will need the ability to take ownership of a project from beginning to end

 

-Must have great communication skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple functional groups

 

-Should have excellent time management skills to meet tight timelines

 

-Experience in JDA Transportation Modeler, Llamasoft Supply Chain Guru, Appian Direct Route and Tableau is preferred. 

 

-Candidate should be highly proficient in Excel and Access

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required in Engineering/Business/Supply Chain or a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience
  • Minimum of three years of related experience is required

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • MBA and/or Industrial Engineering Masters Degree preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency in: MS Office MS Project and/or AutoCAD and Warehouse Management System (WMS) Visio

Responsibilities

  • Collects data and performs statistical analysis Maps and documents processes
  • Recommends and implements process improvement
  • Applies company methodologies and tools to design distribution/ transportation operations including staffing, equipment, sizing and layout
  • Supports business development and helps create efficient designs and solutions processes
  • Determines efficient utilization of resources by analyzing layouts, labor force, equipment, driver and equipment utilization charts
