The "Director of Customer Logistics II", as we refer to this role internally, is responsible for five+ customers located across the U.S. In this position, you will help lead and develop a culture of safety, service, performance and continuous improvement that allows us to satisfy our customers’ needs and meet Ryder’s goals.
You will help drive innovation and creative problem solving that allows us to retain or expand with our current customers, and supports the sales team as we pursue and win new business.
This role will require you to have 10+ years of distribution management experience, operations experience, must demonstrate strong financial acumen, a focus on safety, process management, ability to manage new customer startups and drive continuous improvement.
The "DCLII" is an exciting role as it gives the person the opportunity to gain exposure to many different customers in the Industrial and Aerospace industry. Our customers ask us to help them support their corporate initiatives for growth, expansion, innovation and market penetration.
We help them by using tools from a wide variety of disciplines including distribution management, transportation management, dedicated transportation, packaging design, engineering and process design.
